Premature failure of B/K (below the knee) prosthetic suspension

for amputees. The new Sleeve Saver sleeve protector product from
Knit-Rite increases longevity for prosthetic suspension sleeves. The
product is a simple double layer nylon sleeve that is worn between the
socket and the suspension sleeve. When the Sleeve Saver is used, the
inner surface of the suspension sleeve is protected from abrasive
