The Silopad Pressure Sensitive Dots are made from Silipos proprietary
gel and are designed specifically for the treatment of skin pressure or
friction induced lesions such as blisters, corns, calluses or pressure
points.
Silopad Pressure Sensitive Dots can also be used to help reduce scar
tissue by moisturizing the covered amputated skin with a medical
grade mineral oil. It is molded into two types of surfaces: a flat
surfaced dot for more affected skin with no bony prominence and an
aperture (or concave) dot for better conformity around affected skin at
bony areas of your stump. The dot is placed flush against the skin of
your stump. Use the product by either adhering to a bandage or
dressing. Made of Silipos’ tri-block polymer gel.
