Stay Dry Pro Waterproof Covering Details
With the uniqueness of the Stay-Dry, you can see and feel thewaterproof seal. Fits snugly yet gently against your hand or foot. You
can confidently hold onto a bar of soap and firmly grip on the pool
ladder. A special non-skid grid increases traction in the shower or
around the pool. Easy to use: slip on over the cast, bandage, or
prosthesis, squeeze and release the hand pump until it collapses,
remove the pump and push on the safety cap.

and prosthesis completely dry. Made of thick surgical latex and can
stretch up to 600% before ripping."
The opening of the Dry Pro needs to be 1½" less than the
circumference of your arm or leg. Sizing Guide Sizes from X-Small for 2
year olds to X-Large for people 6½ feet tall. Length (if the DryPro is
too long the excess material will flatten down when the air is pumped
out.)
Prosthetic Arm: Measure the circumference of the arm just above your
prosthesis. If you had to use a mid bicep measurement for length, then
measure the circumference at mid bicep. (ADD 2" to length
measurement)
Prosthetic Leg: Measure from the back of the prosthetic heel (the
floor) up the prosthetic leg to 2" above your prosthesis. Measure the
circumference of the leg just above your prosthesis. If you had to use a
mid thigh measurement for length, then measure the circumference at
mid thigh (i.e. you need the Dry Pro to extend past any socks or roll on
liners.)
The circumference needs to be larger than the opening measurement of
the Dry Pro to fit without being loose.
Example Measurement Below Knee Leg Amputee:
1. Measurement 1 - Circumference of my thigh where I would like
the Dry Pro to end (typically above liners or sleeves.) = 18 1/4"
(Dry Pro arm and leg covers are designed to fit snugly, especially the
opening at the end of the cover where the covers must remain sealed.
To create a good vacuum seal the opening for your specific prosthesis
needs to be smaller than your limb.)
2. Measurement 2 - Length from the floor (back of prosthetic heel
without shoe) to 2" above where the Dry Pro needs to end. = 25"
Total (My prosthesis from the floor to the top of my gel liner while
standing was 23" PLUS 2" = 25")
3. I would need a size Medium because the opening of the size large is
too big and the small... is too small for me.
